The Maine Outdoorsman: Women Gone Wild – Interview

The Maine Outdoorsman: Women Gone Wild – Interview:

Steve found me via Twitter and we struck up a conversation about hunting and being a female hunter. Here is my attempt to do the sport justice and represent the female side of things. Hope you all enjoy it!

  1. The interview was fun, thanks to you for putting up with me and not punching me in the nose. 🙂

  2. Read the interview, that is how I found my way to your blog. nice job.

  3. Ha! anytime. My goal now is to take photos while Im in the woods – like @Rick has done and post those. I will work to be more hunting focused in the next month!!! Thanks for cheering me on

  4. I came over from Rabid's blog. Great interview! I really enjoyed it …probably because I am a female hunter too and could relate to most of it.

Nice to stumble across another female hunter…I will be sure to follow!

Sitting is safer

On Veteran's Day, the wind was so bad that I climbed down from the Sky Condo to sit in the ground blind that we had not removed since turkey season.  I am usually all for rocking in the trees but there was just enough extra creeks happening that I felt better on...

You are not welcomed!

We have seen the tracks and scat and now... urgh! There were three pictures of him coming down a deer trail.  We had pictures of a doe walking in the opposite direction about 30 minutes before and then this. I might end up buying a call and seeing if I can lure...

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s… (hopefully) meat in the freezer!

Photos from our 2 (out of 3) working trail cameras!  Only one chip/camera has a working date and time stamp, but we are getting pictures so we will take what we can get =)  Come on deer season!!!
